Rachael McDonald is a former managing partner in an international law and professional services firm with over 23 years of experience in financial services and law (corporate, finance, regulatory) including opening, growing and managing a foreign office in a challenging jurisdiction.
Rachael was 1 of the firm’s 2 founding Diversity & Inclusion partners and led the beginning of the firm’s journey to embedding inclusion into the way business was done. She was also a member of the firm's global board and risk committee. Rachael has been a trusted advisor to clients across a multitude of industries worldwide and brings a wealth of knowledge and practical commercialism, energy, and care to her clients. Rachael holds a Law degree, and is admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand, England and Wales, the British Virgin Islands and as an Attorney-at-Law in the Cayman Islands.
Rachael’s CEO equivalent experience, global board member responsibilities, and entrepreneurial project delivery success in a foreign jurisdiction have given her a broad skill set, with a roll up your sleeves and solve the issue approach. Rachael loves strategy and business planning and brainstorming. She has a passion for making complex issues simple and solving problems always with a view to supporting and empowering people in organisations to deliver results.
