Vicky’s experience is practical, with lots of lessons, tips and tricks gathered from the combination of high performance sport, playing hockey for New Zealand, and executive leadership roles in the public sector.
Vicky has seen the power of believing in people’s ability to grow and perform and leaders coaching them to do so. Making teams hum and creating the flow of performance in teams is critical and where the magic lies. Vicky offers innovative ways to put it all together - to create a culture that is purpose driven, values difference, looks after people, and creates high performance. She brings a practical bent to helping people get to action. Trying things out, seeing how it works is a great way to build on strengths and stretch at the same time.
Vicky was recently the Chief Executive of the Ministry for the Environment and prior to this Deputy Chief Executive in the New Zealand Treasury.
