Strategic Programme Management
Kia ora koutou, ko Zoe Murphy tōku ingoa. Ko wai au? (Who am I?)
I am an experienced senior leader skilled at leading and delivering large programmes of work within complex, multi-stakeholder environments. To date, my time has been spent in Government, health service delivery, tertiary education, research, innovation, and start-up industries… and now within the power industry.
To deliver, I tap into 18 years of experience in senior business and operations management, team leadership, strategy implementation, strategic programme management, strategic relations and stakeholder management. But if I’m honest, these business skills only create half my success. The other half I strongly attribute to what really matters to me – the people and the purpose.
I believe that business happens inside a social context, not vice versa. Therefore, creating a healthy and cohesive social ecosystem is central to how I work – to raise performance and deliver sustainable change. I am also committed to driving organisational initiatives focused on social justice, Te Tiriti and equity for Māori, Pacific and other communities.
Previous team members say my main super-powers are: my authentic, mana-enhancing leadership, my genuine care for people, my ability to mobilise and empower others and my relentless positive energy for meaningful change. I am super proud of this reputation and bring these ways of working to all mahi I am involved with.
